Starting Tuesday, April 18, JLPS will be participating in Earth Week! As
an Eco school, staff and students are always doing their part in keeping our
environment clean. Next week, we will be taking part in the following
activities:
Tuesday: Eco Bingo! 4-5 Eco words will be announced over
the announcements every day. Students will have an opportunity to learn more
and one class will win an Eco prize!
Wednesday: Walk to school! The class with the most
walkers/bikers will be the new winners of our prestigious golden shoe.
Thursday: Thirsty Thursday! Bring a reusable water bottle
and fill up at our water filling stations.
Friday: Wear blue or green to earn colour team points as
we participate in our 20 minute makeover! The whole school will be heading
outside and cleaning up our school yard. Students will be provided with gloves
and bags.
