Grade 8 Graduation

On June 21, we celebrated the graduation of our very first grade 8 class. This has been an amazing year for us, especially because of the high caliber of students we have had the privilege to teach.   We thank our school community for supporting us in all our endeavours and for our grade 8 parents/guardians, for the exceptional children they have raised.

All our students were recognized for working hard to achieve their grade 8 diplomas. We were able to honour students for their hard work in all our subjects,  for contributing to 
school-life, for being role models for their class and for supporting our school's commitment to building an inclusive school. We had many students who reached honour roll distinction (80% or better for both terms) and some even excellence distinction (90% or better for both terms).

We are all extremely proud of all the accomplishments of our very first graduating class and their work they contributed to building their legacy for years to come at JLPS. They really demonstrated our school motto: Together we learn. Together we succeed. Together we are.
